Course Overview

The Certificate course in Yoga Training is a 6 month course that explores the fundamental concepts of mainstream Yoga and its philosophical foundations. The course deals with both abstract and practical aspects of Yoga.

To pursue Certificate course in Yoga Training, candidate must have passed highschool from a recognized Board with relevant subjects. However, there is no restriction on the highest qualification i.e. candidates who have passed class 12th or graduation are also equally eligible. There are no entrance tests for admission.

Yoga is safe to practice after an injury as long as you rest when needed, stop as soon as you feel pain and create stability around the injury. However, Yoga should not be performed in a state of exhaustion, illness, in a hurry or in an acute stress condition.

If you are a beginner, you should start practicing yoga either in the presence of a yoga teacher or join a yoga class so that you learn the basics and the do’s and don’ts of yoga. You should practice only those yogic exercises that you are recommended and do not opt for strenuous ones if you are a beginner and of middle or old age.
